A few weeks ago we did a brief comment on another book of the same Publisher, Shipping, and now it is the turn of this one, Shipbuilding. Both have a similar structure and provide an international analysis of the current state of the legislation in twenty jurisdictions worldwide. And it is precisely in this comparative table where resides the greatest interest of this book, since it gives a glimpse in a fast and effective way to the regulation currently in force in each of these jurisdictions. As for the chapter dedicated to Spain, while it is true that it does not include any reference to the rules which replaced the former “tax lease” regime, it is no less true that the rest is sufficient to find out how this sector is regulated under the Spanish legal system.
