How we help

With the opening in 2014 of our representative office in Malaysia, AVCO Legal became the first Iberian law firm present in any ASEAN country. Since then, we have been assisting clients from the ASEAN region coming into Europe with:

• Real estate purchase and operation

Additionally, we have spearheaded the set up of the Spain-ASEAN Business Association (ASEMPEA). The Association is not only a meeting point for Spanish and South-East Asian companies, but also serves as a lobby and discussion forum with the Spanish administration and Embassies of ASEAN country members in Spain. We have established strong and reliable relationships in places where we are not physically present but our clients need to be. Key markets such as Turkey, Brazil or francophone countries can be tackled effectively from our offices thanks to our international desks. Steeped in these local legal practices, our desks also serve as gateways for investment flowing into Spain, Portugal and Italy. 

We act in different capacities (board member, secretary general or regional delegate) for the following institutions:

• Spanish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce
• Italian Chamber of Commerce in Spain
